Ramin Mehmanparast who had a hectic timetable in Warsaw in the past two days as Mr. Mohammad Javad Zarif was visiting the country, told reporters that Zarif’s visit would bring about positive changes for the prospects of trade with a country well-advanced in technology and whose skilled and elite human labor worked successfully with west European industries as CEOs; “Mr. Zarif discussed with Polish officials organized crime, when he signed also a MoU on fighting the drug cartels and crime gangs; Poland is home to one of the skilled elite community of high-ranking managers of European industry which would help Iran in providing it with quality in a level to compete EU standards,” he told reporters on Tuesday. “Mr. Zarif also headed an economic delegation in the northeast European tour; Polish officials also hail cooperation with Iran as we could be good partners for them to explore markets in the Middle East.”
“Zarif also met his counterpart on Monday and discussed bilateral matters of interest especially regional crisis ongoing in the Middle East; Poland has always welcomed a role in addressing global crisis and has similar positions with Iran on a host of issues including security,” Mehmanparast told the press. “Zarif’s meeting with head of country’s National Security Bureau (BBN) Mr. Pawel Soloch and focused upon political and security issues; in meeting with Marshal of the Sejm (Speaker of the lower house of parliament) Marek Kuchciński, both sides emphasized in improved antiparliamentary relations, with Mr. Kuchciński inviting Iran’s Parliament speaker to Poland for a visit,” Mehmanparast detailed about Zarif’s meetings.
“Zarif also addressed a group of university students in Warsaw where he received a warm welcome for his speeches on extremism and terrorism and Iran’s position; in meeting with Polish Prime Minister Ms. Beata Szydło, Zarif addressed the necessity of removing restrictions on Iran’s banking interactions with the world; Szydło believed that Iran was a good trade partner for Poland and that her country was resolved to increase its trade volume in the near future,” said the ambassador.
